1 Cup Short-grain Rice
2 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
2 Tbsp Sugar
2 Tbsp Mirin
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
Nori Seaweed Sheets
A Variety of Fillings (e.g. cucumber, avocado, smoked salmon, etc.)
Soy Sauce


1. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once the rice is cooked, combine the rice vinegar, sugar, and mirin in a bowl and mix until dissolved. Pour the mixture over the cooked rice and stir until the vinegar mixture is evenly distributed.

2. Place a sheet of Nori seaweed on a bamboo mat. Spread the cooked rice evenly on the Nori sheet, leaving a 1-inch empty border at the top of the Nori sheet.
