Ingredients-1 kg Quince fruit
-750 ml White rum
-300 grams Sugar
-500 ml Water

2. In a sterilised glass jar or bottle, add the chopped quince fruit, white rum, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
3. Seal the jar or bottle tightly and store it in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks (or up to 3 months) to allow the flavours to infuse.
4. Shake the jar or bottle every couple of days to help dissolve the sugar and mix the ingredients together.
5. After the infusion period, strain the quince liqueur mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean glass jar or bottle.
6. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup thickens slightly.
