  • 1/2 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted

Instructions

  2. Lay the chicken breasts flat on a cutting board and use a mallet to pound them until they’re about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Place a slice of swiss cheese and a slice of ham on top of each chicken breast. Roll the chicken up to enclose the filling and secure with toothpicks.

  5. In a separate shallow dish, whisk together the egg and milk.
  6. In another shallow dish, mix together the panko breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese.
  7. One at a time, coat each chicken roll in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  8. Place the chicken rolls seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  9. Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken rolls.
  10. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until fully cooked and golden brown.
  11. Remove toothpicks before serving.
  12. Enjoy your classic chicken cordon bleu!
